Quick Back Patio Project
Proof that not all decor projects take months and months to complete, this completed project was short and sweet! Between the consultation, shopping, and completing the look it was a matter of days from start to finish. With the focus only on one area it was easy to get the job done quickly and that was a good thing because the wedding celebration date was approaching quickly. The area would provide a covered retreat for mingling and some seating after the ceremony while appetizers were being served. There was a set of chairs that could be used that had a worn, lived in look that was perfect, and all that was needed was to find the right fabric and have them recovered. The fabric chosen was a nice, fall plaid with browns and navy.
I loved how this little corner turned out. It really is about trial and error when pulling a look together. I had in mind that we would set a bench at the base of the window and add a decorative piece over the window- none of which happened, but that’s okay because this works better for the space. It’s nice to have a plan, but sometimes the plan changes and it’s for the better!
Views for dayssss!! This is from a different angle and the views make you never want to leave the sofa. I have a feeling the guests will gather in this area long after the appetizers are served.
The area is complete now and what a wonderful space to be enjoyed for a long time to come.
